The Isaacs-DeFrancis Fund for Community Leadership at the Island Institute This new fund was established in the fall of 2015 by Cranberry Isles residents Henry and Donna Isaacs, in honor of Henry's late wife, Lisa DeFrancis. Recognizing that effective local leadership promotes and sustains strong, healthy year-round island communities, this Fund helps support the leadership programs of the Island Institute. These programs bring together individuals from various local governments, businesses and no-profit sectors, for skill-building and networking opportunities - investing in the people most dedicated to ensuring that Maine's 15 year-round island communities continue to thrive. Much of the initial support has come from the sale of Henry's artwork. Archipelago continues this tradition with the sale of this series of signed, limited-edition giclee prints. Revenue from the purchase of these prints helps provide funding for the Isaacs-DeFrancis Fund for Community Leadership supported programs at the Island Institute.
