Claire Weinberg
Dulse & Rugosa is the mother and daughter team of Claire and Carly Weinberg. The company started in 2012 as a way to spread the wonder of Maine's oceans and especially seaweed, with everyone. The botanicals and seaweeds are wild harvested or grown on Gotts Island, a tiny island off the coast of Acadia National Park in Maine. Claire and Carly hand pick each flower, leaf, and piece of seaweed and then solar dry them. Using the dried seaweeds and botanicals they then handcraft each of their soaps, lotions, scrubs, and oils with love and care.
